Hollywood actor Tom Cruise was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York. He is the son of Mary Lee Pfeiffer and Thomas Cruise Mapother III. His mother is a special education teacher, and his father is an electrical engineer. Lee Anne, Marian, and Cass are three of Tom Cruise’s sisters. His parents were both from Louisville, Kentucky. His father was of German descent while his mother had Irish and English roots.
