What a bummer…I have watched Kevin in all his movies and enjoyed them .. I am 88 yrs old now and I don’t think I will see another episode that I have enjoyed so much… It is really a slap in the face to all of us.

Before this show, I didn’t care a thing about ANY kind of show centered around cowboys. Now,…spending the night in Rips Cabin is #1 on my bucket list. Kevin is amazing as JD but Rip and Beth ARE THE ENTIRE SHOW!!

It’s a much longer version of “A River Runs Through It”. Or a much shorter version of Cain and Abel. Either way, it’s a soap opera with a whole lot of Kevin Costner close ups, long shots of galloping horses and a few too many slow-speakin’soliloquies, if you ask me.

I’m in agreement with most of the commoners. I can’t believe there’s not going to be a new season. We should have at least had an ending! I probably won’t get involved in any new series because of the way they canceled this show. If their spin off 1928 doesn’t come back with another season, I definitely will not start watching another series from Paramount.
I think this is all a complete lack of respect. Where is the fucking contract that leaves these loose ends? When entering a series that reaches the highest ratings peaks, the actor needs to understand his responsibility with the project, as millions of people are behind the TV screens, living, dreaming, participating, imagining, cheering,… and , out of nowhere, at the best moment, the series simply ends for those reasons they claim?
